The staff from ICEH has presented papers in the Brazilian Congress of Public Health

The staff from International Center for Equity in Health at UFPel has presented several papers in the 11th Brazilian Congress of Public Health, which took place in the city of Goiania, between July 28th and August 1st of 2015. Aluísio Barros was promoted to Full Professor

Aluísio JD Barros was promoted to Full Professor (Class E) of the Post-graduation Program in Epidemiology from UFPel after presenting an academic memorial in a public session held in June 10th. His career progression was approved by an Evaluation Committee composed by Professors Iná da Silva dos Santos (UFPel), Elsa Regina Justo Giugliani (UFRGS), Marco Antonio Barbieri (USP) and Euclides Ayres de Castilho (USP).

WHO launches 2015 State of Inequality Report: reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health

The WHO launches its 2015 State of Inequality Report: reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health on next 15 June at the Pan-American Health Organization headquarters in Washington DC. Cesar Victora will give a seminar at UNICEF in New York

Professor Cesar G. Victora of International Center for Equity in Health (ICEH) will present a seminar entitled "Child health: is equity improving?" at the UNICEF headquarters in New York (USA) on April 15th at 2 PM. The seminar will provide an update on the work carried out at the ICEH regarding trends in inequalities in intervention coverage in 98 countries.
