Microcephaly in Brazil: how to interpret reported numbers?

Professor Victora with collaborators have published a paper in the Lancet jornal in wich they recomend that “national and international agencies should refrain from reporting suspected cases and speed up investigation to report on confirmed cases with laboratory or radiological evidence”. Women and girls in the center of development

 Representing the ICEH, Fernanda Ewerling went to Delhi and Jharkhand, India, to participate to a week of meeting and roundtables on India’s women lives and empowerment, discrimination and abuse, violence, and on laws and policies that influence women and girls’ health and development outcomes.
