This is a turning point to discuss the role of health in the post-2015 development agenda as the 2015 deadline of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is near. While much progress has been made, there is still a long way to go. Therefore, the International Epidemiological Association, whose president is Dr Cesar Victora, is actively engaged in the global agenda for defining health priorities post-2015. We would like to share their position paper.
