ICEH members will participate of a scientific meeting in Stellenbosch, South Africa, January 29-February 1 2018. The objectives of the meeting are (1) to take stock of the current practices, advances and critical issues in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH&N) measurement, and (2) to develop a priority research agenda on RMNCAH&N measurement to 2020, including the implications in terms of measurement instruments for countries and for global programs.
The scientific meeting will bring together technical experts working on measurement of RMNCAH&N. This will include members of the Countdown technical working groups, including the technical review group and the working groups on coverage, equity and drivers, as well as the subgroups on nutrition, effective coverage, conflict settings, ECD and others. Additional experts were also invited based on their proposed contributions and expertise. The meeting will be preceded by closed meetings of the Countdown Technical Working Groups.
