ICEH Retriever update adds Ecuador surveys and refines existing estimates

The ICEH Retriever has released a new update, expanding its data coverage with two new National Health Surveys from Ecuador, from 2023 and 2024. These newly added surveys provide up-to-date data for Ecuador and further strengthen the platform’s coverage of health and nutrition indicators across countries and over time.

The update also includes a series of refinements to existing estimates, improving the consistency and accuracy of indicators across surveys. These changes include updates to multi-dose vaccine indicators in MICS surveys, revisions to LLIN indicators in DHS surveys conducted after 2018, and corrections to selected indicators and disaggregation estimates.

Together, these updates expand the range of available data while ensuring that existing estimates remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with the ICEH Retriever’s standardized approach.
