ICEH Retriever update expands data coverage and introduces wealth decile stratification

The ICEH Retriever has released a new update, expanding its data coverage and improving the precision of inequality analyses. This release includes nine additional household surveys, comprising seven Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) and two Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS). These additions strengthen the platform’s capacity for cross-country and longitudinal analyses by increasing the breadth of available data.
The update also introduces wealth stratification by deciles. This more granular classification of socioeconomic status enables users to better capture and analyze inequalities within populations.
Together, these updates ensure that the ICEH Retriever remains up to date with the latest available data, supporting timely and relevant analyses in global health and development.
